A water-based sodium polyborate luquid is the easiest and cheapest way to save your house from fire. Roughly 80% of house fire incidents in Japan and the US are started from the inside houses. The top causes of fire are cigarette, cooking, electrical wires, and heating applicances. And once a fire is started, it is just a matter of minutes before the fire spreads to become uncontainable. So, it is best if you can do something to prevent a serious fire before it even starts. This product does just that. It can make almost anything fire protected by just spraying or brushing on the surface of materials. You can create one fire-protecte room in your home for safety until fire fighters arrive.

Remarks:
This product does NOT make materials non-conbustible, but it makes materials fire retardent in order to delay the ignition and/or spread of fire so that you can buy time to to escape or call the fire department.

Mechanism:
Borate naturally has a fire protection characteristic; when it is heated, it creates glass shields to cut off the air (oxygen). By using this characteristic of borate and our nano technology, we were able to create a borate-disolved liquid which protects the materials from being burned. Borate can disolve in water only about 4%. However, our nano technology made us create a water-based solution with more than 30% of borate disolved. The 30% borate inside materials is enough to create nano-level glass shields when it is heated, which makes the materials fire retardent or sometimes non conbustible under real-world conditions.

How long does it last?
For materials inside homes such as curtains and furniture, it lasts almost forever, or as long as the material which abosorbed the liquid lasts. Reason why it lasts almost forever is that the liquid is a water-based solution. After it is absorbed into a material, the water dries out, but the borate does not dry out, but stays inside the material.

Usage Instructions:
Apply to anything which absorbs water such as wood, textiles, and papers.

Safety:
It is completely safe for humans. It is a clear transparent liquid with no smell. The main ingredient, borate, is a substance found in nature. It is used for healthcare supplements and eye drops, and it is even found in vegetables. We take it every day. We conducted various toxicity tests using small animals including acute oral toxicity test, acute dermal toxicity test, and acute inhale toxicity test.
